December 1, 2011 Audio Project Redux

After leaving the project for a night, i decided I didn’t like it as much as I had originally and went back to edit it again. There’s still some problems, but I’m a bit happier with this version, and I’m going to stop editing it because it’ll just be like trying to cut a straight edge on a piece of paper with scissors: I’ll keep trying and trying to get a perfect straight line, but can’t, and end up with nothing left.

Also known as George Lucasing it.

The second reason is that the class this is due for is in 1 hour and 15 minutes, so I really can’t keep on editing it.

February 22, 2011 A Genetic Review!

So, recently I watched Paw Duagn do a review of Repo! The Genetic Opera, and I asked the twitters if they though that, although the soundtrack is pretty much heavy metal, and I don’t like heavy metal, should I give it a go. The story seemed interesting, and I have no problem with gore, I just don’t really like heavy metal, and I was afraid that that would be too off-putting for me.

Well, a friend from the only internet forum I actively participate in when I remember, recommended I watch it. We seem to have similar tastes, so I decided I would. And she asked me for a review… well, my opinion… which turned into a review. So I sat and talked about it for the better part of an hour, and here is my review of Repo! The Genetic Opera!
